Nets Stage Historic Comeback vs. Pistons

The Brooklyn Nets pulled off a miracle against the Detroit Pistons, rallying from a huge deficit to win 107-105. The victory marked the fifth-largest comeback in franchise history, keeping Brooklyn's postseason aspirations alive as the regular season winds down.

The comeback snapped a 10-game losing streak for Brooklyn and marked the Pistons' first three-game skid of the season. Detroit, who still holds the top seed in the Eastern Conference, was significantly shorthanded, playing without injured starters Cade Cunningham and Ausar Thompson. Brooklyn trailed by 23 points in the third quarter and was still down by double digits with under six minutes remaining in the game. The Nets closed the contest on a furious 18-6 run to snatch the victory. Michael Porter Jr. was the driving force for the Nets, finishing with a massive double-double of 30 points and 13 rebounds. However, it was Ziaire Williams who hit the biggest shots, draining two clutch three-pointers in the final minutes, including the go-ahead basket with 1:28 left on the clock. The Pistons had a final chance to win, but a potential go-ahead three-pointer from Duncan Robinson and a putback attempt by Jalen Duren both missed as time expired. For Detroit, Tobias Harris contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Jalen Duren added 17 points and 14 rebounds in the losing effort.
