It moved up the stack — into advanced summaries and workflow features. ### What is Fathom actually offering? Fathom is a meeting notetaker for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Fathom’s help center says free users get advanced summaries for their first 5 calls each month, and after that they fall back to the chronological template. Premium removes that cap and adds extras like AI action items, follow-up emails, custom AI summaries, and Ask Fathom. So the free plan is generous on capture, but not fully unlimited on the part that saves the most post-meeting work. ### Why is that split important? Because storage is cheap enough to commoditize, but interpretation is where these products try to make money. A transcript is useful.
