50 Cent vs T.I. Beef Explodes
The 50 Cent vs. T.I. feud has erupted into 2026's first major hip-hop beef, with T.I. and his family dropping multiple diss tracks. The beef is being called a throwback to classic rivalries like Nas vs. Jay-Z's Ether era, complete with family involvement and social media warfare.
This beef's roots stretch back to 2007 when T.I. faced federal gun charges. 50 Cent publicly labeled him a "snitch" for striking a plea deal and questioned the leniency of his sentence on the 2008 G-Unit track "You So Tough." The current conflict reignited after years of T.I. publicly challenging 50 Cent to a Verzuz battle, a request the G-Unit mogul repeatedly declined. In early February 2026, T.I. accused 50 of "ducking smoke" during an interview, prompting 50 Cent to respond with a barrage of social media posts targeting T.I. and his family. 50 Cent escalated the feud by posting an unflattering photo of T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, and comparing their son, King Harris, to the Pepe the Frog meme. This prompted T.I. to fire back in the comments, but 50 Cent has refrained from releasing any musical responses, instead stating "I don't need to rap, YOU need me to rap." In response to the social media attacks, T.I. has released a series of diss tracks, including "War," "The Right One," and "Lessons." On "The Right One," he raps, "Grown men makin' memes, that's a weird-ass flex," directly addressing 50 Cent's online tactics. The conflict has become a family affair, with T.I.'s sons, King and Domani Harris, releasing their own scathing diss tracks. King Harris's track was accompanied by a video where he wears a t-shirt featuring a photo of 50 Cent's deceased mother. Domani Harris's diss track, titled "Ms. Jackson," samples the OutKast classic and directly addresses 50 Cent's late mother, Sabrina Jackson. He raps, "Are you happy with the way he been holding your family name/I need to know cuz I can't sleep at night thinking you died in vain."
