Turks & Caicos Resort Expansion Opens
Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos debuted Treasure Beach Village with 101 new rooms, an expansive infinity lagoon pool, swim-up bar, and "Starfish Cinema" for families. The all-inclusive expansion is being lauded for its next-level entertainment and luxury amenities targeting beach escape enthusiasts.
The new Treasure Beach Village represents a $150 million investment in the Beaches Turks & Caicos property, adding 101 new multi-bedroom suites and bringing the resort's total room count to 858. This expansion is situated on the west end of the resort along the renowned Grace Bay Beach. Accommodations in the new village are designed for larger families and groups, with some options sleeping up to 10 guests. Among the most luxurious are the three-story, 2,600-square-foot CrystalSky 4-Bedroom Reserve Villas, which feature private pools and rooftop decks complete with telescopes. The two-story Chairman's Penthouse Suite spans over 2,800 square feet. New dining concepts include the Pinta Food Hall, a first for the Beaches brand, and the introduction of Butch's Island Steakhouse, a signature restaurant from the sister brand, Sandals Resorts. A new coffee bar, BRÜ, serves Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee by day and transforms into a craft cocktail lounge at night. This expansion is part of a larger strategy by parent company Sandals Resorts International, which plans to invest nearly $1 billion to expand its family-focused Beaches brand across the Caribbean. Future projects are planned for Exuma in The Bahamas, Jamaica, Barbados, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The project underscores the significant role of tourism in the Turks and Caicos economy, which accounts for the majority of the nation's GDP. The islands have experienced rapid growth in tourism since the 1970s, becoming a major industry for the country. Nightly rates at the new Treasure Beach Village start at $1,060 per person. The expansion officially opened on March 1, 2026.
