Megan Thee Stallion drops B.B.B. remix

New Music Friday delivered 15 fresh hip-hop and R&B tracks, headlined by Megan Thee Stallion and Juvenile's "B.B.B. (remix)" alongside Mýa and 21 Savage's "ASAP (remix)," RAYE's "Nightingale Lane," and Tori Kelly's "Mourning 2 Dancing" featuring Tenroc and Jon Keith. Other notable releases include Yeat & EsDeeKid's "Made It On Our Own," CHASE B's album *BE VERY AFRAID*, and Joyner Lucas & Kodak Black's "Enemies."

The "B.B.B." remix unites two generations of Southern hip-hop, with Megan Thee Stallion's contemporary "Hot Girl" persona joining the legacy of New Orleans bounce icon Juvenile. The track is a lead-up to Juvenile's first solo album in a decade, *Boiling Point*, which is scheduled to be released on March 26. Juvenile's original track aimed to connect with millennials by capturing the feel of the music their generation grew up with. His most iconic hit, "Back That Azz Up," was released on June 11, 1999, and is widely credited with popularizing the twerking movement and bringing the New Orleans bounce sound to a global audience. The city of New Orleans even declared the 25th anniversary of the song, June 11, as "Back That Azz Up Day." Megan Thee Stallion has frequently incorporated the bounce genre into her own music, making the collaboration a natural fit. Her 2020 album *Good News* featured the track "Circles," which was noted for its New Orleans bounce sound. The "ASAP (remix)" pairs Mýa with 21 Savage just weeks after the original song's release in January 2026. The track is the lead single for Mýa's upcoming tenth studio album, *Retrospect*, her first full-length project since 2018. 21 Savage has a history of successful collaborations, including the chart-topping album *Her Loss* with Drake in 2022 and his own No. 1 album *American Dream* in 2024. RAYE's new single, "Nightingale Lane," is a powerful, personal ballad that she describes as being about "the greatest heartbreak I've ever known." The song is a preview of her next album, *This Album May Contain Hope*, which follows her record-breaking night at the BRIT Awards. Tori Kelly's feature on "Mourning 2 Dancing" is part of a project by Grammy-nominated producer Tenroc. The track, which also features Jon Keith, is the lead single from Tenroc's faith-driven debut album, *God Is A Person*.
