RAK Flight Deals Hit March Low
March is now the cheapest time to book Ras al Khaimah flights with average return prices from UK at £476 and lowest recent fare at £327. December remains most expensive period, while new aggregation platforms now search 900+ travel sites with filters for Wi-Fi and stopover duration. This comes as RAK earned its first 'outstanding' school rating and hosts "Hanan Al Yaqoot" expo through March 1.
The lower flight prices coincide with Ras Al Khaimah's record-breaking tourism performance in 2025, which saw the emirate welcome 1.35 million overnight visitors, a 6% increase from the previous year. This surge was accompanied by a 12% growth in tourism revenues, with significant increases in visitors from the UK (+10%) and Russia (+20%). This growth is part of the emirate's ambitious Tourism Vision 2030, which aims to attract over 3.5 million visitors annually. A key element of this strategy is a massive expansion in hospitality, with plans to double the hotel room capacity by 2030. Upcoming major hotel openings include brands like Janu, Four Seasons, Fairmont, and Taj. A cornerstone of this development is the multi-billion-dollar Wynn Al Marjan Island, an integrated resort scheduled to open in 2027. This project is part of a broader infrastructure push that includes the development of RAK Central, a mixed-use hub with 3 million square feet of office space and over 4,000 apartments. The educational landscape is also advancing, burnishing the emirate's family-friendly appeal. In a first for the emirate, the RAK Academy Al Hamra campus achieved an 'outstanding' rating in the 2026 private school evaluations released by the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Knowledge (RAKDOK). The "Hanan Al Yaqoot" expo mentioned is likely the 14th edition of the Ras Al Khaimah Art Festival, which ran this year from January 16 to February 8. Held in the historic Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village, the 2026 event featured 106 artists from 42 countries and introduced the emirate's first contemporary art biennale under the theme "Civilizations".
