Travelpro Appoints Lori H. Gonzalez as CEO
Luggage and travel accessories company Travelpro Products has appointed Lori H. Gonzalez as its new Chief Executive Officer. Her appointment was effective February 16, 2026.
- Lori H. Gonzalez brings over 25 years of experience in the consumer products industry, with a history of leadership roles at private equity-backed companies and Fortune 500 businesses. - Before joining Travelpro, Gonzalez was the CEO of Luminex Home Décor & Fragrance, where she focused on global growth strategy and operational improvements. - Her career also includes a significant tenure at Newell Brands (formerly Jarden Corporation), where she managed large consumer portfolios and was responsible for revitalizing well-known brands such as FoodSaver, Oster, and Mr. Coffee. - Travelpro is owned by the private equity firm MidOcean Partners, which acquired the company in 2016. - The company has a history of innovation, credited with inventing the first upright, rolling luggage, known as the Rollaboard®, by a former airline pilot. - Gonzalez's appointment is focused on driving Travelpro's next phase of growth through product innovation, brand engagement, and omnichannel expansion. - The previous CEO of Travelpro was Rob Cooper, who was in the role as of March 2024. - Travelpro is a major supplier of luggage to airline professionals, with crews from over 90 airlines using their products.
