Unisys and Dell Partner on Device Services
Unisys is advancing its Device Subscription Service through a new collaboration with Dell Technologies. The partnership aims to provide organizations with more agile digital workplace solutions designed to support complex edge computing and Internet of Things (IoT) deployments.
- The collaboration is a continuation of a long-standing relationship, spanning more than 30 years, that has evolved from mainframe computing to modern cloud and AI solutions. - Unisys holds Titanium status in Dell's partner program, the highest tier available, and was named the 2024 Dell Technologies Global Alliances Partner of the Year. - The expanded Device Subscription Service will now extend beyond traditional PCs to a wide array of edge and IoT devices, such as sensors on university campuses and specialized hardware for restaurants. - The partnership's offerings are designed to cater to high-volume, regulated sectors, including finance, transportation, and government. - In addition to device management, the collaboration provides joint solutions for Zero Trust-strengthened cyber recovery and AI-driven innovation. - Unisys currently provides support to 10.4 million end-users across the globe. - The service aims to offer a predictable cost model for businesses by shifting from upfront hardware costs to a monthly subscription for device fleets. - Both companies have stated sustainability goals, aiming to reduce their scope 1 and 2 emissions by 50-75% by the year 2030.
