The Secret Gardens event in Onchan will occur on June 13 and 14. In 2024, the event showcased a dozen gardens, including the grounds of Government House, and raised £4,330 for Sight Matters and Live at Home. This year, funds will go to Sight Matters and Housing Matters. Organizers are seeking gardens of all sizes within Onchan, including private residences, local authority properties, businesses, or schools, aiming for 12 to 25 participating gardens. Visiting hours are set from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all participating gardens will be covered by indemnity insurance for the duration of the event.
