Indian Wells: Siniakova Upsets Andreeva

Katerina Siniakova staged a dramatic upset of defending champion Mirra Andreeva at Indian Wells, marking her first entry into the tournament’s fourth round.

Siniakova's victory ended Andreeva's nine-match winning streak at Indian Wells, which included her junior title run in 2023. Andreeva, who was seeded 23rd, succumbed to Siniakova despite leading by a set and a break. Siniakova will face Emma Navarro in the fourth round; Navarro defeated Elina Svitolina in straight sets.
