F1 Arcade to Open in Chicago's River North
Formula 1's hospitality concept, F1 Arcade, is set to open this summer in Chicago's River North neighborhood. The venue will feature racing simulators and will be located in the former site of the Rock Bottom Brewery.
The new F1 Arcade in Chicago will be located at 1 W. Grand Avenue, taking over the two-level building that formerly housed the Rock Bottom Brewery. This move is part of a significant U.S. expansion for the brand, which already has locations in Boston, Washington D.C., and other cities. The venue will feature 70 full-motion racing simulators designed to provide a realistic Formula 1 experience. The cocktail program is being curated by "Drink Masters" champion LP O'Brien, and will include Chicago-inspired specialty drinks. F1 Arcade is a venture from Kindred Concepts, a company that has seen significant investment from Liberty Media and Formula 1 itself. The company has ambitious plans for global growth, aiming to open over 30 locations worldwide by the end of 2027 through a mix of company-owned and franchise venues. The Chicago venue is slated to host official Formula 1 Watch Parties, allowing guests to watch a Grand Prix and race on a virtual version of the same track simultaneously. The space will also be available for private and corporate events, with inquiries for bookings already being accepted.
