Three OC openings

Orange County is getting three new concepts: a revolving sushi spot, a new Italian chain, and a fresh concept from Magellan Moore — the former Mastro’s Ocean Club chef — all announced this week. These openings add to OC’s growing dining diversity and were detailed in an OC Register roundup published March 17. (ocregister.com)

Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is listed on Kura’s official California locations page at 1500 E. Village Way, Suite 2203 in the Village at Orange. (kurasushi.com) A public grand‑opening event for Kura in Orange is listed for March 20, 2026, with the restaurant showing up in local event listings and mall leasing announcements. (happeningnext.com) North Italia has been confirmed as a tenant for The Shops at Mission Viejo redevelopment at 555 The Shops at Mission Viejo and will join a new 50,000‑square‑foot outdoor shopping and dining village. (whatnow.com) The North Italia brand was developed by Fox Restaurant Concepts and became part of Cheesecake Factory Inc. in a more than $350 million deal; the chain reported roughly $8 million average annual sales per location last year. (whatnow.com) Noble Ace, the Old Hollywood–inspired concept from chef Magellan Moore and partner Elizabeth Schreiber, will occupy 400 S. Coast Hwy. in Laguna Beach and the space is planned to seat up to 150 guests across multiple distinct dining areas. (whatnow.com) Noble Ace’s program includes a weekly changing Chef’s Table with five courses, a dedicated caviar menu, a curated cocktail list, live piano music at the bar and wine lockers for regulars, according to the owners. (whatnow.com) Magellan Moore is identified in local coverage as the chef behind Noble Ace and is described as having worked at Mastro’s Ocean Club before launching his own concept; local profiles also note his culinary roots in Columbus-area programs. (whatnow.com) The OC Register framed the three openings as slated to debut “from now until early summer,” while the North Italia team has declined to provide a public timeline and Noble Ace has been described as opening “this summer.” (ocregister.com)
