MARRIAGETOXIN Season 2 January 2027

AnimeUpdates used a Sept. 8 post on X to circulate a new MARRIAGETOXIN Season 2 trailer and say the series will premiere in January 2027. The post adds a fresh promotional beat to a return that had already been scheduled for early 2027 in official and trade coverage. The anime’s official website identifies the series as an adaptation of Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda’s manga and says it is produced by BONES FILM. (comicbook.com) Coverage published when the renewal was first announced said the second season would follow the end of Season 1. (myanimelist.net) ### Didn’t MARRIAGETOXIN Season 2 already have a release window? June 30 was the first widely reported date for the January 2027 window. (comicbook.com) MyAnimeList’s news item, citing the end of the anime’s 13th episode, reported that a second season was in production and scheduled to premiere in January 2027 on Kansai TV and Fuji TV’s Karnival!! slot. Crunchyroll News reported the same day that Season 2 had been officially announced with plans to return in January 2027. The Sept. 8 AnimeUpdates post therefore appears to function as a new promotional push rather than a first announcement. ComicBook’s report published today also described the newly released material as a “first look trailer” for Season 2 ahead of its 2027 premiere. (comicbook.com) ### What exactly did the Sept. 8 post add? Sept. 8 brought a new trailer into circulation through AnimeUpdates’ X account. The post, referenced in today’s social briefing and reflected in same-day pickup coverage, paired the January 2027 timing with trailer imagery and a link for viewers. (myanimelist.net) Today’s outside coverage also points to additional promotional materials. The Outerhaven reported that MARRIAGETOXIN revealed a Season 2 visual and promotional video and said the new season is scheduled to stream in January 2027. (comicbook.com) ### What has the official site said about the series itself? The official English-language website says MARRIAGETOXIN is based on the manga by Joumyaku and Mizuki Yoda and follows Hikaru Gero, heir to the poison-wielding Gero family, who begins a search for a bride. The site also identifies BONES FILM as the studio behind the TV anime adaptation. (comicbook.com) That background matters because the Sept. 8 trailer push is aimed at an audience that already has a defined continuation point. Earlier reports tied the Season 2 order directly to the close of the first season, meaning the new trailer is arriving after the renewal and release window were already on the record. (theouterhaven.net) ### Is there a specific premiere day yet? January 2027 is the most precise timing publicly confirmed in the sources reviewed. MyAnimeList’s June 30 report included the month and broadcaster slot, but none of the sources reviewed here gave a specific calendar day for the Season 2 debut. The official website remains the main place to watch for a dated broadcast update, while the Sept. 8 AnimeUpdates post is the current place where fans can find the newly circulated trailer. (marriagetoxin-anime.com) Until a day-and-date announcement appears, January 2027 is the confirmed launch window attached to Season 2. (myanimelist.net)
