Arnold Classic Streams Free This Weekend
The 2026 Arnold Strongman & Strongwoman Classic is happening this weekend with free livestream viewing options available for strength sports fans. The event features top athletes from around the world competing in one of the sport's most prestigious competitions.
The Arnold Strongman Classic is considered the most difficult and heaviest strongman competition globally, with a greater emphasis on pure, raw strength than other contests. Co-founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2002, the event is a cornerstone of the larger Arnold Sports Festival held annually in Columbus, Ohio. Only a handful of athletes have ever claimed the prestigious title. Lithuanian legend Žydrūnas Savickas holds the record with an incredible eight victories. Other multi-time winners include American Brian Shaw and Hafþór "The Mountain" Júlíus Björnsson of Iceland, who each have three titles. The reigning champion, Canada's Mitchell Hooper, is on a dominant run, having won the title the last three consecutive years (2023-2025). His victories have established him as the current standard-bearer in the sport. This year, ten of the world's top strongmen will battle for the Louis Cyr Trophy. The lineup of competitors includes Hooper, Martins Licis, and Trey Mitchell. The two-day contest will test athletes across six grueling events designed to push them to their absolute limits. The challenges for 2026 include the Elephant Bar Deadlift, the Austrian Oak log press, and a Stone To Shoulder event.
