Swampert Tera Raid Returns
Poison Tera Type Swampert 7-star raid runs through March 13 in Scarlet/Violet. You can catch Swampert with Mightiest Mark and farm additional rewards. High-difficulty event for endgame players.
This isn't Swampert's first appearance in 7-star Tera Raids; it previously challenged players in May and June of 2024. This rerun offers a fresh opportunity for those who missed out on catching the powerful Mud Fish Pokémon. For those who have already caught it, participating again still yields valuable rewards. The key to victory against this Poison Tera Type Swampert lies in exploiting its induced weakness to Psychic-type moves. While Swampert's base Water/Ground typing is weak to Grass, the Poison Tera Type makes Grass-type counters vulnerable. Recommended Pokémon for the battle include bulky Psychic-types like Slowbro and Vaporeon equipped with a Psychic Tera Type. Successfully defeating the raid multiple times allows players to farm significant amounts of Exp. Candy for leveling, treasures that can be sold for in-game currency, and items to boost a Pokémon's stats. Additionally, players will receive Poison Tera Shards, which are necessary for changing a Pokémon's Tera Type. The "Mightiest Mark" is an exclusive mark given to Pokémon caught in 7-star Tera Raid Battles, signifying their formidable strength. This special Swampert can only be caught once per save file, making it a unique collectible for trainers.
