Accenture Leverages Google Cloud & Wiz
Accenture is using Google Cloud and Wiz to provide intelligence-led, unified cyber defense, especially against AI-driven attacks in multi-cloud environments. The solution aims to address 'blind spots' in fragmented setups by combining Google's Security Operations platform with Accenture's security services.
Accenture is expanding its Google Cloud partnership to combat AI-driven cyberattacks, which include sophisticated methods like AI-enhanced social engineering and autonomous malware. This collaboration aims to deliver a unified cyber defense by combining Google's Security Operations platform and Accenture's cybersecurity services. The goal is to help organizations transition from reactive measures to proactive business resilience. This partnership builds upon Accenture's existing work with Wiz, a cloud security company recently acquired by Google Cloud. Accenture's own security team is deploying Wiz across its cloud footprint to identify and resolve risks, demonstrating its commitment to cloud security and responsible AI adoption. Rex Thexton, CTO at Accenture Cybersecurity, notes that AI is reshaping cyber defense and introducing new complexities. By deploying Google Security Operations with Accenture's AI Migration Factory, companies can accelerate SIEM transitions. This integration strengthens security across development, deployment, and runtime, ensuring a unified cybersecurity posture. Accenture was also named a top leader in the Everest Group Cloud Security Services PEAK Matrix Assessment 2025 and a Google Cloud Global Services Partner of the Year for the third year in a row.
