The Karate Kid Musical UK Tour
Full casting announced for the UK tour premiere of *The Karate Kid* musical (opens April 28) https://x.com/i/status/2031323611450032405.
Adrian Pang will star as Mr. Miyagi, with Gino Ochello as Daniel LaRusso, and Abigail Amin as Ali Mills. Joe Simmons will play Johnny Lawrence, Matt Mills is John Kreese, Sharon Sexton is Lucille LaRusso, and Finley Oliver will be Freddie Fernandez. The UK tour will visit 12 venues, beginning at the New Wimbledon Theatre on April 28, 2026. Other stops include Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Sheffield, Sunderland, Birmingham, and Cardiff. Before a planned West End run, the show will also play in Toronto from September to November 2026. The musical features a book by Robert Mark Kamen, the original screenwriter of the 1984 film, and music and lyrics by Drew Gasparini. The production had its world premiere in 2022 at STAGES St. Louis. The musical's creative team includes Tony Award winners and features choreography by Keone and Mari Madrid.
