ALTOUR Bolsters Leadership Team

Global travel management company ALTOUR has announced a series of new senior hires. The company stated the appointments are intended to strengthen its leadership team to advance growth and service excellence.

- The new appointments include Matthew Jones as Vice President of Product Management and Bill Lemmon as Vice President of Global Sales, MICE. - Matthew Jones brings over two decades of experience in travel technology, having held senior roles at Travelport and BCD Travel, where he focused on launching large-scale platforms and driving digital transformation. - Bill Lemmon has over 25 years of experience in leading strategic growth in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) sector, having previously held a senior role at MCI. - These hires follow the appointment of Gabe Rizzi as President of ALTOUR in February 2024, who previously served as president of Internova's corporate travel division. - The leadership expansion comes after ALTOUR's parent company, Internova Travel Group, decided to consolidate the business travel operations of Travel Leaders Corporate and ALTOUR under the single ALTOUR brand. - In another recent key appointment, Shannon Garcia, a veteran with over 25 years of experience at companies like Deem, American Express Global Business Travel, and BCD Travel, was named Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Strategy. - The founder and former CEO of ALTOUR, Alexandre Chemla, left his position at the end of 2023.
