Finovifi Acquires Turner Software, Launches Fraud Platform

Finovifi, a provider of AI-driven financial technology, announced its acquisition of Turner Software Technologies. Concurrent with the acquisition, Finovifi launched FrontLine Sentry, a real-time teller fraud prevention platform designed for community banks. The move expands Finovifi's offerings in the fraud prevention and compliance technology space.

- Finovifi's acquisition of Turner Software brings over 50 community bank clients into its ecosystem. The founder and president of Turner Software, Jerry Turner, will join Finovifi as Senior Vice President of Engineering. - Turner Software Technologies, founded in 2004, has a long-standing product called Teller21, which is already integrated with Finovifi's Modern Banking Systems (MBS) core platform to streamline teller workflows. - The new platform, FrontLine Sentry, will embed Finovifi's existing check fraud detection engine, FraudSentry, directly into the teller workflow, providing risk analysis before a transaction is completed. - This move is a direct response to the growing threat of fraud faced by community banks; a 2025 survey by the Conference of State Bank Supervisors identified card fraud as the most common and costly type of fraud for these institutions. - Finovifi has been actively expanding its offerings through acquisitions, having also purchased Modern Banking Systems (MBS) in February 2025 to move into core processing. - The launch of FrontLine Sentry positions Finovifi to address rising check fraud, which, according to FBI statistics, amounts to $18 billion in annual losses with over a million fraudulent checks detected daily. - Finovifi itself is a relatively new brand, having rebranded from ThreatAdvice to reflect a broader mission beyond cybersecurity into AI-driven financial security and compliance.
