PARCO opens “Kis-My-Ft2: The Couture” on April 24 at Ikebukuro PARCO, turning the group’s stage costumes into a monthlong fashion exhibit. (art.parco.jp) The show runs through May 25 on the 7th-floor PARCO FACTORY, with timed-entry tickets priced at ¥1,500 and free admission for preschool children. (art.parco.jp) PARCO said the Ikebukuro stop will display 48 outfits in two rotations, with 24 costumes shown from April 24 to May 8 and another 24 from May 9 to May 25. (art.parco.jp) The exhibit centers on costumes from the group’s 15-year career, alongside unpublished design materials, wear photos, and personal items from members. (art.parco.jp) PARCO said many of Kis-My-Ft2’s stage outfits since 2018 have been supervised by member Yuta Tamamori, with a focus on clothes that highlight each member’s style rather than a standard idol uniform. (ikebukuro.parco.jp) That framing pushes the show closer to a fashion presentation than a memorabilia display: the venue is staged like an atelier, and visitors can also watch concert footage beside more than 20 miniature costume reproductions. (art.parco.jp) The exhibit also doubles as a music rollout. A preview area is set up for the new song “Couture,” which the group’s label said will be released digitally on May 26 as the exhibition’s image song. (mentrecording.jp) PARCO tied the opening to merchandise sales, including sticker sets, acrylic key holders, a handkerchief scarf, hangers, zipper bags, and a 15-card visual set, with purchase limits on several items. (art.parco.jp) Each paid visitor also receives a printed message card from all members, and PARCO has already scheduled a five-city tour after Ikebukuro, with stops in Sapporo, Sendai, Fukuoka, Shinsaibashi, and Nagoya from June through September. (art.parco.jp) For Kis-My-Ft2, which debuted on August 10, 2011 and is marking its 15th anniversary with monthly new songs and a national arena tour starting in June, the exhibit opens as both a retrospective and a storefront for the next phase of the campaign.
