LBank Metals Futures Hit $6B Volume

Crypto exchange LBank's Precious Metals Futures has hit $6 billion in cumulative trading volume from over 20,000 traders. The platform now claims the top spot for open interest in the GOLDUSDT contract among centralized exchanges.

LBank's precious metals futures launched on January 5, 2026, beginning with GOLDUSDT and SILVERUSDT perpetual futures. The platform's offerings have since expanded to include nine different precious metal assets. The expansion of LBank's precious metals lineup now includes GOLD, SILVER, XAUT, PAXG, XPT, XPD, XCU, XNI, and XAL. This variety allows traders to engage with a broader range of safe-haven assets and employ more diverse cross-market hedging strategies within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. The top three assets contributing to the trading volume are GOLD at 35.78%, SILVER with 28.48%, and XAUT at 15.92%. On February 25, 2026, LBank's open interest in GOLDUSDT perpetual futures reached $31.46 million, marking a 199.69% increase in a 24-hour period. Founded in 2015 by Eric He, LBank is a global cryptocurrency exchange that serves over 20 million registered users across 160 countries and regions. The platform as a whole supports over 800 cryptocurrencies and has a daily derivatives trading volume of more than $67 billion.
