TI and Son Drop 50 Cent Diss
T.I. and son King Harris dropped diss track "Sayless" targeting 50 Cent, with fans hyping it as fire and speculating 50's Instagram clapback is incoming. King Harris also fired back by wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with 50 Cent's mother's image while promoting the track. Domani Harris separately released "Ms Jackson," another diss track taking aim at 50 Cent using psychological tactics.
The current beef between the two rappers ignited over a proposed Verzuz battle that T.I. claims 50 Cent agreed to in private, only to publicly act as if he knew nothing about it. This public denial, according to T.I., was a sign of disrespect that shifted the dynamic from a friendly competition to a personal issue. This isn't the first time the two artists have clashed. Their strained relationship dates back to at least 2007-2008 when 50 Cent labeled T.I. a "snitch" on the G-Unit track "You So Tough" following T.I.'s federal gun charge and subsequent plea deal. In response to the recent Verzuz dispute, 50 Cent has relied on his typical social media trolling, posting old clips related to T.I.'s legal history, including a 2008 Crime Stoppers ad. The conflict escalated significantly when 50 Cent posted an unflattering photo of T.I.'s wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, which prompted T.I.'s sons to enter the fray. This led to King Harris's diss track "Sayless," where he not only verbally attacked 50 Cent but also wore a T-shirt featuring an image of 50 Cent's late mother, Sabrina Jackson. Another of T.I.'s sons, Domani, released "Ms. Jackson," which directly addresses Sabrina Jackson, who died in a mysterious fire in 1983 when 50 Cent was eight years old. The use of 50 Cent's mother in the diss tracks has been a particularly controversial and sensitive point in the feud. Sabrina Jackson's death at the age of 23 has been a significant and painful part of 50 Cent's life story, which he has spoken about publicly. The case remains officially unsolved, though 50 Cent has expressed his belief that she was drugged and left in the apartment with the gas turned on. So far, 50 Cent has refrained from releasing a musical response to the diss tracks from T.I. and his sons. He has instead continued to use social media, at one point posting and then deleting an image with the caption, "I don't need to rap, YOU need me to rap." The beef has also drawn in other figures from the hip-hop community. Longtime 50 Cent rival Rick Ross has publicly shown support for King Harris, even commenting on his Instagram post to request one of the controversial T-shirts in a size 3XL. King Harris has continued to taunt 50 Cent on social media, sharing a list of grievances that include allegations of being a "federal informant" and a history of domestic violence. T.I. has also released multiple diss tracks of his own, including "War" and "Right One," accusing 50 Cent of being a "keyboard warrior."
