Home goods e-commerce company Wayfair announced its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 results, reporting strong profitability and market share gains. Separately, Floor & Decor Holdings posted its Q4 financial results, providing further insight into the renovation materials market.
- Wayfair's full-year 2025 net revenue reached $12.5 billion, a 5.1% increase year-over-year, while its net loss for the year was $313 million. For the fourth quarter, total net revenue was $3.3 billion, an increase of 6.9% from the previous year. - Despite a slight 0.5% year-over-year decrease in its active customer base to 21.3 million, Wayfair saw increased spending from existing shoppers. The company's sales to "Pro" customers grew by 9% for the full year and accounted for approximately half of total sales. - Floor & Decor's CEO, Brad Paulsen, stated that the company expanded its market share despite pressure from softness in existing home sales activity. For 2026, the company projects net sales between $4.88 billion and $5.03 billion and comparable store sales to be in the range of a 2.0% decrease to a 1.0% increase. - The broader home decor market was projected to reach $716.53 billion in 2026, with key growth drivers including rising consumer interest in interior design and a shift toward eco-friendly materials. Meanwhile, the overall home remodeling market was expected to grow from $997.52 billion in 2025 to $1.04 trillion in 2026.
