Tint World Appoints New Executives

Automotive styling franchise Tint World has made two strategic executive appointments, naming a new Chief Development Officer and VP of Finance. The company says the new leadership is meant to accelerate its national expansion plans for 2026.

The new hires are part of a broader strategy to award 85 new franchises and open over 50 new locations in 2026. This follows a strong 2025, during which the company signed 39 franchise agreements and had 56 stores in development. This expansion initiative comes on the heels of the company's first year crossing the $100 million mark in store revenue in 2025. That same year, Tint World opened 10 new stores in locations across the country, including California, Texas, and Florida. To fuel this growth, Tint World recently secured its first-ever institutional investment from Susquehanna Growth Equity. This capital is intended to enhance operational support and accelerate franchise development. The company's growth has been steady, with 14 new locations opened and three new states entered in 2024. As of September 2025, the franchise had over 250 locations either open or in development. The automotive aftermarket industry is projected to grow significantly, with one report estimating the light-duty market could surpass $500 billion by 2028. Founded in 1982 in Tamarac, Florida, Tint World began as a single store and started franchising in 2007. The company has since expanded its services beyond window tinting to include vehicle wraps, electronics, and protective coatings for automotive, marine, residential, and commercial applications.
