basedinmalibu posts solo wallpaper install

BasedinMalibu used an X post on September 7 to document a solo wallpaper installation and to direct followers to a longer how-to video on YouTube. The post said she is “not a DIY girl” but completed the project herself, and it included before-and-after photos of the room, according to the X link provided in the source briefing. (youtube.com) The linked YouTube video is titled “How to Install Wallpaper Like a Pro | Step-by-Step DIY Makeover,” and its description says it walks viewers through “a simple and affordable wallpaper installation from start to finish.” The same description says the tutorial is aimed at “beginners, renters, or anyone looking to DIY their walls,” framing the project as accessible rather than trade-only work. (youtube.com) ### What did she post on X? The September 7 X post from @basedinmalibu centered on a personal home project: installing wallpaper alone. (x.com) The source briefing says the post paired that claim with before-and-after images and a link out to her YouTube channel. The wording matters because the post presented the job as something done by someone who does not usually identify as a do-it-yourself creator. That self-description matched the way the linked video is packaged on YouTube, where the tutorial is described as suitable for beginners. (youtube.com) ### What is in the YouTube tutorial she linked? The YouTube video title emphasizes a full process tutorial rather than a short reveal clip. The description says the video covers wallpaper installation “from start to finish,” and calls the makeover “simple and affordable.” (x.com) The same description says the video is “perfect for beginners, renters, or anyone looking to DIY their walls into something stunning,” which indicates the audience she is targeting. That language places the video in the home-and-DIY category rather than a general lifestyle vlog. (youtube.com) ### Who is behind the BasedinMalibu account? The YouTube channel surfaced in search results as “Liz Benichou - YouTube,” with the handle @BasedinMalibu. The channel listing showed 194 subscribers and 46 videos at the time the page was indexed by the search tool. (youtube.com) The channel name matters because it ties the X handle to an identifiable creator name on YouTube. The available search result does not provide a full channel biography, but it does confirm that the BasedinMalibu branding is being used across platforms. (youtube.com) ### Why did this post travel beyond a normal room update? The X post combined three things that tend to perform well in home-content feeds: a personal challenge, visual proof, and a tutorial link. The source briefing specifically notes before-and-after photos, while the YouTube listing provides the practical component through a step-by-step video. (youtube.com) The post also fit into a broader stream of home-and-DIY discussion identified in the social briefing, which flagged @basedinmalibu’s wallpaper post alongside other repair, renovation and maintenance content circulating over the same 24-to-48-hour period. (youtube.com) ### Where can viewers find the next step? The YouTube channel page for @BasedinMalibu is the main destination linked from the X post, and the wallpaper tutorial is hosted there under the title “How to Install Wallpaper Like a Pro | Step-by-Step DIY Makeover.” The channel listing also indicates there are additional videos and Shorts under the same creator name. (x.com) September 7 is the key date attached to the post in the source briefing, and the tutorial link gives viewers a direct next step: watch the full installation walkthrough on her YouTube channel.
