The creative partnership between Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar is a family affair; the two artists are cousins. Their familial connection was a long-standing rumor before being officially confirmed in 2020. "Good Flirts" is the latest in a series of acclaimed collaborations, including "Range Brothers" and "The Hillbillies." Their 2021 track, "Family Ties," earned the duo a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. Keem also contributed production to Lamar's 2022 album, *Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers*, and served as a co-opening act on the subsequent tour. The video was directed by Renell Medrano and also features vocals from singer Momo Boyd.
