Alcaraz Survives Scare at Indian Wells

Alcaraz struggled but ultimately defeated Fabian Marozsan 6-3 6-3, despite the Hungarian's impressive performance that included a series of spectacular winners. Marozsan had previously defeated Alcaraz in Rome last year. Alcaraz will now face Casper Ruud in the fourth round, a rematch of the 2022 Miami Open final. The match is scheduled for tomorrow, March 11, at 7:00 PM CET. The winner of Alcaraz vs. Ruud will advance to the quarterfinals to face either Tallon Griekspoor or Taylor Fritz. Alcaraz is the defending champion at Indian Wells.
