Quantum Imaging Startup Gains Funding
Diffraqtion, a quantum imaging startup, secured pre-seed funding to scale quantum imaging capabilities. Diffraqtion's pre-seed funding round was led by Ambit Capital, with participation from Octave Ventures and Quantum Fund. The funding will support the development of their quantum imaging platform, which aims to overcome limitations of traditional imaging methods. The technology is based on quantum entanglement and squeezed light, promising enhanced resolution and sensitivity for maritime object detection. This could allow for the identification of objects with minimal light or obscured by environmental conditions. Beyond maritime surveillance, Diffraqtion's technology has potential applications in medical imaging, autonomous vehicles, and industrial inspection.
