LUXEED to debut at Auto China

LUXEED is slated to make its debut at Auto China 2026 in Beijing as automakers gather to showcase next-generation mobility and intelligent manufacturing. LUXEED says it will use Auto China 2026 in Beijing for a public brand reset and a broader vehicle lineup, including its first premium multipurpose vehicle. (manilatimes.net) The Beijing International Automotive Exhibition runs from April 24 to May 3, 2026, and the official show organizer says it will span 380,000 square meters across the China International Exhibition Center in Shunyi and the Capital International Exhibition Center. (autochinashow.org) LUXEED’s announcement says the stand will center on the new V9 multipurpose vehicle, alongside the R7 and S7, with displays around intelligent driving, smart cabins and manufacturing. (newsfilecorp.com) LUXEED is not a standalone legacy carmaker. It is the Chinese brand name Zhijie under Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, with vehicles developed with Chery and sold through Huawei-linked channels. (hima.auto; consumer.huawei.com) That setup puts the brand in the middle of China’s current car race, where automakers are competing on software, driver-assistance systems and factory automation as much as on motors and sheet metal. The Auto China organizer is pitching the 2026 show under the theme “Leading the Era, Intelligent Future.” (autochinashow.org) The model mix also shows how fast the brand is widening its reach. Huawei’s current Zhijie pages list the S7 sedan and R7 sport utility vehicle family, while the V9 would add a larger people-carrier format aimed at higher-end family and executive buyers. (hima.auto; hima.auto; newsfilecorp.com) Chery, LUXEED’s manufacturing partner, says it has sold more than 15 million vehicles worldwide, giving the brand an industrial base that is much larger than a typical startup’s. Huawei, for its part, has used its in-car software and retail network to help several Chinese vehicle brands reach buyers. (cheryinternational.com; consumer.huawei.com) The company’s own materials make clear that its driver-assistance features are still assistance, not self-driving. Huawei’s Zhijie site says its ADS 4 system “is only designed for assisted driving” and does not replace the driver’s judgment or responsibility. (hima.auto) For LUXEED, the Beijing show is less about a single reveal than a scale test: a bigger booth, a wider lineup and a chance to present itself as a long-term premium brand before Auto China opens on April 24.
