This win also snapped a three-game winning streak for the Knicks, who now stand at 40-23 on the season. Chet Holmgren was instrumental in the win, tying his career-high with six 3-pointers on his way to 28 points. For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson dished out a season-high 15 assists but struggled with his shot, going just 5 for 18 from the field. Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a strong double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds in the losing effort. This game concluded a perfect 3-0 road trip for Oklahoma City, who also picked up wins against the Dallas Mavericks and the Chicago Bulls. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who had rested the previous game against the Bulls, returned to the lineup and contributed 26 points and 8 assists. Both teams were dealing with injuries. The Thunder were without Jalen Williams due to a right hamstring strain. The Knicks were missing key rotational players, with Mitchell Robinson and Miles McBride both sidelined.
