Frederick Municipal Airport (KFDK) in Maryland is recreated in detail for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, capturing its role as a busy general aviation hub. The scenery, developed by AirportMode, includes custom textures, realistic lighting, and accurate modeling of airport buildings, including the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association headquarters. It's designed for general aviation pilots and corporate jet operations in the Mid-Atlantic region. Belle-Île-en-Mer airfield (LFEA) in France is also receiving updates for MSFS 2024. The scenery includes the airfield itself, coastal details, and points of interest like Le Palais citadel and the Gouphar lighthouse. This freeware add-on enhances the island's representation within the simulator. RW Profiles is updating Newcastle Airport (EGNT) for MSFS 2024 with new high-resolution ground textures and native night lighting. The update also includes a resurfaced runway with updated markings. Existing customers who purchased the 2020 version before December 15, 2025, can upgrade for free. A browser-based flight simulator, built using Three.js and React Fiber, demonstrates the capabilities of web-based 3D graphics. The simulator features aircraft selection, multiple camera modes, and a HUD displaying flight data. Users can control the aircraft with WASD and IJKL keys.
