Soul highlights include Jill Scott's new 10/10 R&B/soul album alongside Tiana Major9's *EATS*.

Bruno Mars' *The Romantic* marks his first solo album in a decade, following 2016's *24K Magic*. To celebrate the nine-song album's release, Mars is hosting "The Romantic Flower Shop" pop-up event in Los Angeles and will embark on a 71-show stadium tour starting in April 2026. The album's lead single, "I Just Might," has already debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. BLACKPINK's five-track mini-album *DEADLINE* is the group's first project as a quartet since their 2022 studio album, *Born Pink*. The release follows the conclusion of their first all-stadium *DEADLINE World Tour* and features a blend of EDM, pop, and hip-hop. Pop-up stores in Seoul, Hong Kong, and Macau are planned to sell exclusive merchandise and a limited "Seoul Edition" of the album. Gorillaz' ninth studio album, *The Mountain*, is their first to be released independently on their own label, KONG. Recorded in locations from London to Mumbai, the 15-track album features a diverse lineup of collaborators including Asha Bhosle, Black Thought, and Johnny Marr. The project also includes posthumous appearances from artists like Bobby Womack and Dennis Hopper and features performances in five languages. The soundtrack for the documentary *Man on the Run* chronicles Paul McCartney's creative period after The Beatles' breakup and the formation of Wings. Directed by Morgan Neville, the film and accompanying album feature deep cuts and fan favorites from that era. The soundtrack also includes three previously unreleased tracks: "Live and Let Die (Rockshow)," "Gotta Sing Gotta Dance," and "Arrow Through Me (Rough Mix)". Mitski's eighth studio album, *Nothing's About to Happen to Me*, continues the musical direction of her previous work, *The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We*, featuring live instrumentation from her touring band and orchestral arrangements. The album is described as a narrative record about a reclusive woman in an unkempt house. Mitski is also currently writing the music and lyrics for a musical adaptation of *The Queen's Gambit*. Jill Scott's *To Whom This May Concern* is her first studio album in over a decade, arriving nearly ten years after 2015's *Woman*. The 19-track album features collaborations with artists such as JID, Tierra Whack, and Ab-Soul, with production from DJ Premier and others. The lead single, "Beautiful People," was released in early January 2026 to introduce the album's themes of community and reflection. Laufey's new song, "How I Get," is one of four new tracks from *A Matter of Time: The Final Hour*, the deluxe edition of her Grammy-winning album. The Icelandic singer-songwriter describes the song as exploring the contrast between being in control in all life areas except when it comes to a specific person. The deluxe album is set for release on April 10, 2026. Tiana Major9's debut album, *November Scorpio*, was recorded in the UK, Los Angeles, and Jamaica and marks her first release as an independent artist after leaving the major label system. The album is a personal exploration of themes like queer love, self-love, and faith, and features a collaboration with Yebba.
