## Duke Dominates Florida State 100-65 Freshman phenom Cooper Flagg overcame an injury scare to lead No. 2 Duke to a resounding 100-65 victory over Florida State, further solidifying their position as a top contender for the national title. Flagg, the potential No. 1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft, left the game in the first half after being poked in the eye. Coach Jon Scheyer described the injury as a bruised eyelid. The injury occurred with 11:27 remaining in the first half when Flagg was fouled by Florida State's Jerry Deng. After being evaluated, Flagg returned in the second half and was instrumental in Duke's dominant performance, scoring 12 of his 16 points after the injury. Duke's offense was firing on all cylinders, with Isaiah Evans leading the charge with 19 points. Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach also contributed significantly, each scoring 14 points. This offensive explosion came even as the Blue Devils were without starting point guard Tyrese Proctor, who was sidelined with a knee injury. The win improved Duke's impressive record to 26-3 overall and 17-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, maintaining their one-game lead in the conference standings. The Blue Devils have been on a tear, with their recent victories including a 100-56 demolition of Notre Dame and a hard-fought 68-63 win over then-No. 1 Michigan. With this victory, Duke has clinched at least a share of the ACC regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament. Bracketologists have taken note of Duke's dominant play, with many projecting them as the top overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. For Florida State, the loss drops them to 16-13 on the season and 7-11 in the ACC. The Seminoles have now lost three straight games and four of their last five. This season marks the first for head coach Luke Loucks, who took over after the long tenure of Leonard Hamilton.
