A Certified in Planning and Inventory Management course is scheduled to start on May 19, 2026, with online classes running for nine weeks through Saudi Arabia’s Middle East Logistics Institute. (meli.edu.sa) Middle East Logistics Institute lists the program as a virtual class and says companies can also request a quotation for group enrollment. The institute says it was established in Saudi Arabia in 2010 and focuses on logistics and supply-chain training. (meli.edu.sa 1) (meli.edu.sa 2) The credential itself comes from the Association for Supply Chain Management, or ASCM, which says CPIM covers internal operations, materials management, master scheduling and production planning. ASCM says people with the certification earn 18% more on average. (ascm.org 1) (ascm.org 2) That body of knowledge has been updated this year. ASCM says CPIM Exam Content Manual Version 9.0 took effect on February 3, 2026, and its 2025-2026 FAQ says the refresh sharpens the focus on planning, scheduling, supply planning and execution. (ascm.org 1) (ascm.org 2) MELI’s course description tracks that emphasis. It says the program covers demand management, supply planning, execution of the supply plan, inventory management, strategy, sales and operations planning, quality management and technology. (meli.edu.sa) The institute says CPIM is aimed at people who need to improve forecasting, inventory accuracy, capacity planning and use of enterprise resource planning systems, the software companies use to coordinate purchasing, production and stock. (meli.edu.sa) (ascm.org) ASCM sells its 2026 self-study learning system for $1,265 for members with the certification upgrade and $1,755 for nonmembers or members without it. A bundle with the learning system, exam and retake option is listed at $2,275 for eligible members and $3,175 for nonmembers or members without the upgrade. (ascm.org) MELI’s public listing does not show a tuition price on the program page, but the institute’s broader catalog says it offers funded programs and dozens of international and online courses. The next step for applicants is enrollment through MELI’s program page before the May 19 start date. (meli.edu.sa) (meli.edu.sa)
