Warzone Season 2 Reloaded
Warzone's Season 2 Reloaded update is live, featuring a new Black Ops Royale mode, nerfs to the REV-46 and M8A1, and new perks Warzone Season 2 Reloaded patch notes: REV-46 and M8A1 nerfs, new Perks, more.
Black Ops Royale, a new mode inspired by Blackout, emphasizes in-match progression on the Avalon map from *Call of Duty: Black Ops 7*. It removes loadouts and buy stations, pushing players to scavenge for weapons and upgrade them using attachment kits. This mode, launching March 12 or 13 depending on the region, pits 100 operators in quads against each other. The REV-46 received nerfs, including reduced range, recoil control, headshot multiplier, and ADS speed. Specifically, the maximum damage range was reduced from 13m to 12m, and medium damage was reduced from 23 to 21. The M8A1 AutoStrike Conversion also suffered, with increased recoil and the removal of its bullet velocity bonus. Three new perks have been introduced: Momentum, Berserker, and Hunter. Momentum replaces Alertness, improving close-quarters weapon handling and movement. Berserker, replacing Bomb Squad, grants a speed boost after eliminating an enemy, enhancing equipment deployment and weapon swapping. Hunter, which replaces Tracker, outlines enemies and shows their footprints, while also alerting you when someone is aiming at you. Several weapons received buffs, potentially shaking up the meta. The MXR-17 now deals slightly more damage at close range, and the Peacekeeper Mk1 has smoother recoil. The Kogot-7 SMG has an increased fire rate and ADS speed, and the Razor 9mm gets a range boost. The MK.78 LMG also received buffs, including increased damage, better recoil, and improved bullet velocity.
