Sea Sea Hotel, a 25-room boutique accommodation in Crescent Head, NSW, has been recognized by Time Magazine as one of the World's Greatest Places to Visit in 2026. Opened in November 2024, the hotel was founded by George Gorrow, co-founder of the Ksubi label, and his wife, ceramicist and model Cisco Tschurtschenthaler. The hotel's design draws inspiration from 1970s Australian surf culture. The hotel features a restaurant, Sea Sea Sane Kitchen, headed by former Icebergs Dining Room and Bar chef Daniel Medcalf. The menu focuses on locally sourced produce from the Macleay Valley. The hotel also offers a beverage program curated by Mike Bennie of P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants, including Sea Sea's own wine, Zamiang Natural, and a mini-bar offering designed by Antonello Arzedi. The property aims to be a cultural hub, with a surf/souvenir shop, audio lounge, and modular event space for exhibitions and performances. Guest rooms range from studios to two-bedroom suites and a Balinese-style villa, featuring wood-paneled walls, vintage furniture, and curated art. Amenities include a heated pool, outdoor fireplace, sauna, and ice baths.
