Daly will drive the No. 23 DRR Chevrolet, with Kingspan as the primary sponsor. This marks Daly's 13th attempt to win the Indy 500. Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has a long history at the Indy 500, dating back to 1927 when Dennis Reinbold's grandfather, Floyd "Pop" Dreyer, worked as a mechanic for the Duesenberg team. DRR has successfully qualified all 42 of its entries in the Indy 500 throughout its history. Daly has five top-10 finishes at Indianapolis, including a 10th-place result with DRR in 2024. He started 29th and led 22 laps in that race. Kingspan is an Ireland-based company that specializes in high-performance building materials. The company has 29,000 employees across more than 80 countries. This is currently Daly's only announced race for the 2026 IndyCar Series season. He competed full-time in 2025 for Juncos Hollinger Racing.
