Retail and Restaurant Spaces Available at Zurich Airport

Flughafen Zuerich is offering retail and restaurant premises for rent within Zurich Airport. The available spaces provide an opportunity for businesses to establish a commercial presence in a high-traffic location. The airport operator is actively seeking tenants for these commercial ventures.

- Zurich Airport's non-aviation revenue, which includes retail and dining, climbed to CHF 653.5 million, representing an increase of 4% and reaching 119% of pre-pandemic (2019) levels. - In 2024, the airport served 31.2 million passengers, an 8% increase from the previous year and nearly reaching the pre-crisis record. This high footfall is a key attraction for retail and restaurant tenants. - A major redevelopment of the landside Airport Shopping area is underway and expected to be completed in stages by 2027. The project will expand retail space by about a third and add a new 2000m2 food hall. - The airport is actively enhancing its luxury retail portfolio, with recent additions including Cartier, Zegna, and Chanel Beauty boutiques. This strategy aims to cater to the expectations of international travelers. - The adjacent "Circle" district, a major lifestyle and business hub, is now almost fully leased and includes tenants like Omega, Jelmoli, and a Hyatt hotel, driving additional non-passenger traffic to the airport vicinity. - As part of a long-term strategy, the airport is planning a complete replacement of the airside Dock A. This new facility will provide expanded and modernized retail and culinary spaces. - Total commercial and parking revenue saw a 5% year-on-year increase, reaching CHF 276.5 million, with real estate revenue hitting a new record high of CHF 197.4 million.
