Switch 2 eShop leaders

On Switch 2 eShop charts, Pokemon Pokopia held the No. 1 spot while Pragmata climbed as pre‑loads went live, showing what players are actually buying right now. (nintendoeverything.com)

Nintendo’s Switch 2 download charts for April 12 show Pokémon Pokopia still at No. 1, while Capcom’s Pragmata has climbed into the top ten as preloads opened. (nintendoeverything.com) In the all-games ranking, Mario Kart World sits at No. 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder Upgrade Pack is No. 3, and Pragmata Deluxe Edition appears at No. 8. The standard edition of Pragmata is also on the same chart just below the top ten. (nintendoeverything.com) The download-only chart is even more direct about current digital demand: Pokémon Pokopia is first, Mario Tennis Fever is second, and Pragmata Deluxe Edition is third. The standard Pragmata listing is fourth there, giving Capcom two of the top four download-only spots before launch. (gonintendo.com) Those rankings mix released games with paid pre-orders, so they work as a weekly snapshot of what Switch 2 owners are buying now, not just what they are playing. Pragmata’s rise reflects money already being spent ahead of release. (nintendoeverything.com) Pokémon Pokopia’s hold on No. 1 also looks durable, not like a one-week spike. Nintendo Everything’s April 5 chart had the same game at No. 1, ahead of Mario Kart World and the Wonder upgrade pack. (nintendoeverything.com) Pragmata’s timing helps explain the jump. Nintendo’s United States store lists the Switch 2 version for release on April 17, 2026, while Capcom says the Nintendo Switch 2 version in Japan and Asia remains set for April 24, 2026. (nintendo.com) (capcom-games.com) Nintendo’s store page also shows a downloadable demo and two digital editions, including a Deluxe edition, which can lift chart positions when eager buyers lock in higher-priced versions before launch. (nintendo.com) For Nintendo, the rest of the top ten shows the Switch 2 eShop is still being driven by first-party software and upgrade paths. Alongside Pokopia and Mario Kart World, the chart includes Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park. (nintendoeverything.com) The chart does not reveal unit sales, so it cannot say how close Pragmata is to Pokopia in copies sold. It does show that, one week before its United States launch, Pragmata has become one of the biggest paid downloads on Switch 2. (nintendoeverything.com) (nintendo.com)
