Casepoint Taps New Product Chief
Washington-based legal tech firm Casepoint has appointed legal tech veteran Pete Feinberg as its new Chief Product Officer. Feinberg brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise SaaS and AI to the company's unified legal and compliance platform.
Feinberg's appointment follows Casepoint's recent merger with government process management software provider OPEXUS and a majority investment from private equity firm Thoma Bravo in January 2025. The combined entity, headquartered in Washington, D.C., aims to create a comprehensive platform for data discovery and process management for both government and commercial clients. Previously, Feinberg served as Chief Product Officer at Consilio, another major player in legal technology solutions. His move to Casepoint signals a strategic focus on advancing the company's unified platform for legal hold, eDiscovery, investigations, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests in a single environment. The legal tech industry is increasingly focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to handle the growing volume and complexity of data for litigation and investigations. AI is becoming a necessity for tasks like document review and analysis, with the goal of increasing efficiency and accuracy while reducing costs. Casepoint has been actively securing its position within the public sector, achieving high-level security authorizations from the Department of Defense (DOD) and FedRAMP. The company also signed a five-year contract with the U.S. Air Force for its AI-powered data discovery platform.
