Lil Uzi Vert Confirms 2026 Album

Lil Uzi Vert confirmed in DAZED that a new album drops this year. Uzi also gave rising rapper 2slimey a public co-sign, suggesting the artist will have major presence in 2026. No release date or title revealed yet.

This new album follows Lil Uzi Vert's 2023 project, *Pink Tape*, which was the first rap album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 that year, earning 167,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. That album was noted for its experimental blend of genres, including punk rap and metalcore, and featured artists like Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj. Fans are familiar with Uzi's history of announcing and then shelving projects. Before the 2026 album confirmation, there was significant buzz around a Young Thug-inspired mixtape titled *Barter 16*, which was teased extensively in 2023 before being scrapped. Another project, supposedly a final album titled *Luv Is Rage 3*, was also announced before Uzi pivoted. The co-sign of 2slimey comes as the Oklahoma City artist gains traction for his own unique style. In a March 2026 interview with DAZED, Lil Uzi Vert directly praised the rising rapper, stating, "2slimey took the end of 2025. I can't even think about nobody else." 2slimey himself has mentioned in interviews that he listens to Lil Uzi Vert. This forthcoming album will be Lil Uzi Vert's first major project since signing a new distribution deal with Roc Nation in late 2025. The new partnership allows Uzi to fully own their masters and operate as an independent artist. Coinciding with the Roc Nation deal, Uzi dropped two new singles in November 2025, "Chanel Boy" and "Relevant," their first solo tracks of that year. This move signaled a new chapter for the artist, building momentum towards their next full-length release.
