IKS Health is in advanced talks to buy TruBridge for about $600 million, a deal that would widen its reach in U.S. healthcare software and billing services. (economictimes.indiatimes.com) TruBridge is a Nasdaq-listed company based in Mobile, Alabama, that sells financial, clinical and data software to rural and community hospitals. The company said on March 31 that 2025 revenue was $346.8 million, recurring revenue was 94% of the total, and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization reached $68.7 million. (sec.gov) IKS Health says it provides revenue cycle management, clinical support and value-based care services, and its website pitches coding, billing and denial management to hospitals and physician groups. On April 7, the company said it had launched an autonomous coding product that can reach up to 95% coding accuracy with human review built in. (ikshealth.com ) (ikshealth.com) Revenue cycle management is the back-office work that turns a patient visit into payment, from insurance checks and coding to claims and collections. Buying TruBridge would give IKS more scale in that business and deeper exposure to smaller U.S. hospitals, where TruBridge has long sold software and outsourced billing help. (ikshealth.com) (sec.gov) The timing fits a larger push by IKS to grow through acquisitions. In October 2023, it bought AQuity Solutions for $200 million and said the combined company would have more than $330 million in annual revenue and a workforce of more than 14,000. (ikshealth.com) For TruBridge, the talks arrive after a reset year. The company changed its name from Computer Programs and Systems to TruBridge in March 2024, and its investor materials now center on “Financial Health” products that made up 64% of 2025 revenue. (finance.yahoo.com) (sec.gov) The reported price would be a large premium to TruBridge’s recent public-market value. Stock Analysis put TruBridge’s market capitalization at about $234.7 million on April 2, while Macrotrends showed about $290 million on April 10, before the takeover report pushed the shares higher. (stockanalysis.com) (macrotrends.net) (finance.yahoo.com) Neither company has announced a signed deal. Until they do, the clearest public facts are TruBridge’s March 31 results, IKS’s recent product and acquisition push, and a report that the two sides are still negotiating terms.
