Clifton Park has steadily expanded its trail network, with 17 miles of new trails constructed since 2000. This initiative aims to enhance walkability and connectivity throughout the town, particularly in the Town Center and Exit 9 areas. Recent projects include a trail/sidewalk system along Clifton Country Road, funded in part by the Transportation Alternatives Program. This park, estimated to take years to build, will undergo environmental reviews and archaeological studies before construction begins.
