Iran to Acquire Advanced Russian Anti-Drone Systems
Iran has reportedly signed a secret €500 million contract to acquire 500 Russian 9K333 Verba MANPADS and 2,500 missiles. The Verba is an advanced man-portable air defense system designed to counter drones and other low-flying aircraft. The deal highlights the global proliferation of sophisticated counter-drone capabilities, complicating the threat environment for NATO and allied forces.
