New Brinepunk Roguelike Co-op FPS
*Abyssus*, a brinepunk roguelike co-op FPS, is hitting Xbox Game Pass, PS5, and Steam this summer with a free update adding new content Abyssus trailer.
The console versions and free 1.3 update will introduce crossplay across all platforms. A new god with new blessings, a new playable area with new enemies, and new room objectives are also being added. The update will also revamp the skill tree and streamline matchmaking. The base game features fast-paced FPS action in a brinepunk setting, with up to 4-player co-op. Players explore procedurally sequenced, hand-crafted levels, battling corrupted denizens of a sunken civilization. The goal is to claim a massive brine deposit beneath the ruins. *Abyssus* features roguelite meta-progression, 8 customizable weapons with 45 mods, and extensive character customization. The game includes 36 different enemies and four bosses. Mastering the game requires tactical coordination and teamwork. A physical edition for PS5 is coming this summer and includes all currently available cosmetic DLCs. A new cosmetic DLC, the Brinerot Pack, will be available for $3.99.
