Milan’s CityLife spring
Milan’s CityLife gardens are hosting a ‘Welcome Spring’ event today and tomorrow, March 20–21, with open sports sessions, science labs and family nature activities across the urban green space (x.com). It’s a compact, park‑based way to get outdoors in the city center without hiking — think guided games and easy nature programming rather than trails (x.com).
CityLife’s official events page lists Welcome Spring on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22, 2026, running 10:00–18:00 each day. (city-life.it(city-life.it)) The weekend is promoted by SmartCityLife Srl and is being held as the festival’s fourth edition in the CityLife park at the base of the Tre Torri development. (city-life.it(city-life.it)) (weblombardia.info(weblombardia.info)) Organisers list workshop and activity partners including Scuola del Fumetto and HwStyle for children’s creativity, Atletica Meneghina for kids’ athletics stations, Lulolab and Cooperativa del Sole for botanical workshops, and CityPadel, Mediolanum Tennis CityLife and Sportitude for adult sport sessions. (city-life.it(city-life.it)) Children’s sport programming is scheduled in set slots — for example ludic-motor stations and team games run 10:00–12:30 and 14:30–17:30 — with specific activities such as staffette, lancio del vortex and corsa dei sacchi listed in the programme. (mentelocale.it(mentelocale.it)) Multiple event listings state free admission and note that some activities require prior booking through the SmartCityLife app or the event booking links provided by organisers.
