Casepoint Hires New Product Chief
Legal tech company Casepoint has appointed Pete Feinberg as its new Chief Product Officer. Feinberg, a veteran with over 20 years in enterprise SaaS and AI, is tasked with advancing the company's unified AI-powered platform for legal and compliance teams.
Feinberg's move follows a significant development for Casepoint in January 2025, when the company announced a merger with OPEXUS and a majority investment from private equity firm Thoma Bravo. This strategic combination aims to create a more comprehensive platform for government and commercial clients. Before joining Casepoint, Feinberg served as Chief Product Officer at Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery and legal consulting services. At Consilio, he was responsible for the innovation and product strategy for a wide range of legal technology solutions. His roles at Consilio also included Senior Vice President of the Self-Service Business Unit. His career includes leadership positions in product management and marketing at various B2B software companies, such as Blackboard, Global Telecom & Technology, and InPhonic. This extensive background in enterprise software will be crucial as he takes charge of Casepoint's AI-powered platform. The legal tech industry is experiencing a surge in AI adoption, with 79% of legal professionals now using AI in their practice. The market for legal technology is projected to reach $32.54 billion by 2026, indicating a rapid expansion and a focus on AI-driven solutions to handle increasing data volumes and complexity. Casepoint has been actively expanding its client base, securing a five-year contract with the U.S. Department of the Air Force and being selected by companies like Cotiviti and Leidos for their eDiscovery needs. The company also recently achieved FedRAMP High security authorization, a critical certification for serving government agencies. The company's recent accolades include being named "Overall LegalTech Data Solution Provider of the Year" in 2024 and winning "Overall Legal Analytics Solution of the Year" in the 2025 LegalTech Breakthrough Awards. These awards highlight Casepoint's position in the competitive legal technology landscape.
