Sebastian Bach Fronts Twisted Sister

Former Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach will be joining Twisted Sister as lead singer for their 50th anniversary tour. This collaboration brings together two icons of '80s rock and is expected to draw large crowds at festival and arena dates throughout 2026.

The change in frontman comes after longtime singer Dee Snider announced his resignation from the band in February 2026, citing significant health issues. Snider, 70, revealed he suffers from degenerative arthritis and has undergone several surgeries, in addition to recently discovered heart problems, making it too painful to continue performing with his signature high-energy style. This isn't the first time Sebastian Bach's name has been linked to the role. Years ago, Dee Snider himself had asked Bach to be a potential stand-in for Twisted Sister in case any health issues arose. Snider has given Bach his "full blessing" for the upcoming shows, expressing his approval of the choice. The 50th-anniversary tour was originally scheduled to begin in April 2026 but was entirely canceled following Snider's departure. The newly announced dates with Bach on vocals are currently scheduled for a limited run in the fall. Sebastian Bach remains busy with his own success as a solo artist. He released a new album, "Child Within the Man," in May 2024 and has been on his own headlining tour, "The Party Never Ends," throughout 2026. The band has assured fans that these select dates with Twisted Sister will not conflict with Bach's solo touring schedule.
