Upcoming US insurance events
Several industry events were flagged for the next months, including InsurTech Insights USA (June 3–4, NYC), Re/Insurance Outlook USA (May 12, NYC), and regional gatherings like Buffalo I‑Day and the IASA Midwest Spring Conference on April 23–24. Organisers and social posts shared registration and discount details for these gatherings. (x.com, x.com, x.com)
U.S. insurance professionals are heading into a packed spring calendar, with New York and regional meetings already posting dates, prices and, in one case, a sellout. (insurtechinsights.com, insuranceinsider.com, buffaloiday.com) Insurtech Insights USA is scheduled for June 3-4 at the Javits Center in New York, where the organizer says it expects 6,000 attendees, more than 400 speakers and six stages. Current registration pages advertise startup passes at $899, insurer or reinsurer passes at $1,349 and general passes at $2,149, with higher prices listed later. (insurtechinsights.com, insurtechinsights.com) Insurance Insider’s New York Conference is set for April 23 at Convene, 101 Park Avenue, and the event page says it is sold out. The organizer says about 250 senior professionals are expected, and its registration page listed a standard pass at $4,095 with a “4 for 3” group offer. (insuranceinsider.com, insuranceinsider.com) Regional events are moving on the same April timetable. Buffalo I-Day is scheduled for April 23 at the Buffalo Convention Center, and the Insurance Club of Buffalo says the one-day event has run since 1953 and draws more than 1,400 attendees, exhibitors and sponsors. (buffaloiday.com, buffaloconvention.com) Buffalo I-Day’s registration page says the 2026 event is sold out. It listed general admission at $275, after earlier price steps of $195 through January 15, $220 after January 15, and $340 after April 1; the event site says the program runs from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on April 23. (web.cvent.com, buffaloiday.com) The Insurance Accounting and Systems Association Midwest Chapter is holding its Spring 2026 Conference in Ankeny, Iowa, from April 23 at 8 a.m. through April 24 at noon Central time. The association says attendees can earn 11 Continuing Professional Education credits, with sessions including National Association of Insurance Commissioners updates, ethics, an economic update, cybersecurity threats and tax topics. (iasa.org, iasa.org) These meetings cover different corners of the business. Insurtech Insights pitches technology, data and startup partnerships; Insurance Insider’s New York event is focused on property and casualty insurance, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities; and IASA chapter meetings are built around finance, systems and compliance training. (insurtechinsights.com, insuranceinsider.com, iasa.org) The timing lines up with a market still working through artificial intelligence adoption, cyber risk, catastrophe capacity and claims costs. Insurtech Insights’ agenda highlights artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things, blockchain and data analytics, while Insurance Insider’s New York page lists sessions on artificial intelligence, cyber risk, excess and surplus growth, and insurance-linked securities innovation. (insurtechinsights.com, insuranceinsider.com) For anyone in the sector planning travel or budget now, the message from organizers is simple: April dates are arriving first, Buffalo is already full, and June’s New York insurtech conference is still taking registrations at discounted tiers.
