TitanX Acquires Sales Dialer FrontSpin
Sales technology firm TitanX has acquired FrontSpin in an eight-figure deal. The acquisition aims to merge AI-driven phone intelligence with enterprise dialing to create a unified system for intent prediction and high-volume sales communication.
- The acquisition was a strategic move to combine TitanX's AI-powered "Phone Intent" technology, which predicts the best time to call a prospect, with FrontSpin's robust enterprise-grade power dialer and call delivery platform. - This deal is a response to declining results from traditional outbound sales methods, as email deliverability has decreased and phone connect rates have hovered around 3%. The merged platform aims to shift the focus from high-volume, brute-force dialing to more precise, data-driven outreach. - Joey Gilkey is the Founder and CEO of TitanX, which launched in 2024. The company's AI is reportedly trained on over a billion calls and can increase connect rates to between 20 and 30 percent. - FrontSpin, founded in 2015 by CEO Mansour Salame, will continue to operate as a standalone business with no immediate interruption for existing customers. Salame confirmed that the two companies had a strong partnership prior to the acquisition. - The combined entity is positioned to provide a single, unified system for sales teams that rely heavily on phone communication as their main go-to-market strategy. - Prior to the acquisition, TitanX had been expanding its leadership team, adding executives with experience from companies like Gong, Docebo, and Marriott to scale its product and engineering efforts.
